Cape Coral is the largest city by population in Lee County Florida, and the 8th largest city in Florida. Its population has been steadily increasing 7% annually over the past 10 years. Indeed, these increases have attracted developers and investors to the area.

Two of the biggest projects in past years were the extension of Veterans Memorial Parkway and the widening of Bayshore Boulevard. New Schools

The number of new schools in Cape Coral has skyrocketed in recent years. Of course, the new schools help to accommodate the city’s growing population and provide residents with access to quality education. 

The Lee County school district is the ninth-largest school district in Florida, with 9 elementary, six middle and four high schools in Cape Coral.  Cape Coral also has numerous charter and private schools in the city. 

New Parks and Cape Coral Go Bond

Cape Coral is also building new parks. The city’s “Go Bond” project is a $60 million expansion of the city’s parks and recreation amenities. Indeed, the new parks will provide residents with a place to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise and socialize with friends and family.

Cape Coral has also seen a number of new businesses and restaurants open in recent years. Specifically, the city has become a popular destination for foodies, with a variety of restaurants serving everything from seafood to pizza.
